- "Good day, friend. I am Amser, leader of New Haven.
- As you can see, many things have changed in this city. Much of the island has sunken beneath the waves, and the old city lies ruined to the southeast. The refugess have told us of the great destruction that engulfed their homes, and all we can do is offer them shelter.
- You may notice that our village lacks the look of one rebuilt from the ruins. It is true - we, and our very city, are not from this time. The same forces that destroyed the island seem to have altered our own fates as well. We have been advised to not speak much of these things, at great peril, for we must preserve the past to ensure our future.
- Now then, Please our city is at your disposal. If you seek friends from the old city, you might wish to visit the inns or the infirmary. May the Virtues guide your path."
