Diese Quest kann derzeit über alle lokalen Town Cryer gestartet werden. Aber auch Heckles the Court Jester kennt sie und beschreibt sie ausführlicher.

Quest Log Town Cryer

"It seems that Castle Blackthorn has some secrets that are worth investigating. Your history on how Blackthorn even became king is a little fuzzy. You decide a visit to Castle Blackthorn would be worthwhile."

Wer zum Schloss näherkommt, erhält eine Meldung, dass man Heckles begegnet, und er zur Bar im Schloss geht. Dort findet man ihn dann auch.

Quest Log Heckles the Court Jester

*hic* Are ye here with the wine delivery from the Abbey? No? Silly me to think you could lift a crate of wine with the strength of a lapwing! Haha! What do you want then, I'm very busy you know - many suitors and lots of wine to test. Oh, you want to know about the dungeon and His Majesty? Do I look like the Royal Archivist? Fine fine... look - the archivist gave me some volumes to store away but I dunno. I lost them. If you can find them I'll let you in on a little secret about the dungeon that'll make it worth your while! I wrote down what I can remember about where they are in this book here. Good luck. Or not. *hic*

Objective:

  • Follow Heckle's clues and using any skill level of detecting hidden to find the missing 8 historical volumes.

Reward:

  • A step closer to understanding the history of Blackthorn's Rise to the Throne.

Nun erhält man ein Buch namens "Heckle's Notes". Darin sind 8 Orte beschrieben, die nun mittels Detecting Hidden Fähigkeit zielsicher aufzusuchen sind (per Fadenkreuz wählt man den Ort genau an). Man erhält ein Buch in den Rucksack gelegt, wenn man quasi eines "gefunden" hat. Die Orte sind:

  • Bar - Im rechten/oberen Spucknapf, nahe beim Narrenhut (16° 16' N, 11° 44' E)
  • Küche - Zwischen den beiden Kessel (15° 18' N, 12° 47' E)
  • Gästezimmer (mit zwei Betten) - Auf der kleinen Bar mit zwei Gläsern, im Süden, linken Teil des Schlosses (oberes Stockwerk) [gibt wohl mehr als eine Stelle hier, am Tisch mit den 5 Stühlen (13° 12' N, 12° 43' E)]
  • Musikzimmer - Auf der Bank des goldenen Harpsichords (16° 42' N, 15° 57' E)
  • Bienenschwarm - Im nördlichsten von allen (23° 13' N, 15° 23' E)
  • Bett - Im Zimmer wo Blackthorn/Hawkwind stehen, neben der Standuhr (16° 53' N, 16° 1' E)
  • Schmied - nahe der Doppeltüre (14° 4' N, 12° 39' E). Der Spot hat für mich nicht geklappt. Stattdessen den zweiten im Gästezimmer nutzen!
  • Vorratskammer - nahe an der Türe (15° 18' N, 13° 21' E)

Wenn man alle Bücher gefunden hat erhält man die (rot gefärbte Meldung): "You've found all the missing volumes! Return to Heckles to let him know!" Man geht also zurück und spricht Heckles wieder an.

*hic* Well, you aren't as useless as you look! Haha! Look, finding those texts was a real solid so I'm gonna let you do one more thing for me. See, the truth is... erm... after the King used his magic to seal Minax's creatures inside the dungeon I - may - have accidentally let some of them back in while tooling around the wine cellar... If you could help clear out the dungeon, I will definitely make it worth your while! *hic*
