Moonglow is advertising the post of the "First Ranger"
We expect you to be dedicated to shielding the island of Moonglow from harm, as well as caring for nature, the inhabitants, and the spiritual bonds formed by emotions and magic that enable our scholars to advance in their research.
There is no restriction to the skills you practice. Whether you are a wanderer, crafter, scout, mage, or fighter, you are welcome to apply. What we do ask is that you are patrolling the island of Moonglow personally and regularly. Good observation skills are essential, as is the judgement of when to interfere and when to let things have their way. Citizenship of Moonglow is required.
As the First Ranger you are entitled to access every place on the island of Moonglow, if your duty requires so. You may call for help to oppose any threat to Moonglow and the officials have to grant any resources they can afford to withdraw from their own responsibilities. You are also entitled to personally engage or to recruit volunteers as deputies if you consider it necessary.
Equipment to fulfill your duty as First Ranger will be provided.
You are responsible and will be reporting directly to the reigning governor of Moonglow.
Please come to the office of the Governor of Moonglow Saturday, June the 28th, 8 pm, if you wish to apply for the post of the First Ranger of Moonglow. The qualification of the applicants will be tested.

PS: Since citizenship of Moonglow is a requirement to apply you have to renounce citizenship if you are citizen of another town. Please bear in mind that renouncing citizenship imposes a restriction of a waiting period of one week before you can declare fealty to another town.
