[EM Event] Meet & Greet plus Bagball Sunday the 18th of May at 20:30 CEST
First I want to hold a meet and greet in the Counselor Guild.
After the M & G, I would like (if you are interested) to play Bagball.
I have taken the rules from the UOB forum and I hope you all agree with them.
According to a user on the forum, the following rules are valid for years on Drachenfels…
Rules (which may be changed if necessary):
Playing time:
2 x 10 minutes or 2 X 5 minutes, where in “Single Play” most of 2 X 10 minutes,
and at tournaments (many games) usually 2 X 5 minutes.
Between each half 3-minute break.
Basic rules:
The weight of the Bagball is 1000 Stones.
If a Player has the Bagball, he is not allowed to walk,
and he must play the Bagball within 3 seconds.
All spells and potions are banned during the game (except at half time)
Teams:
Bagball can be played in four different forms.
1 vs 1
2 vs 2
3 vs 3
4 vs 4
[Depending on how many players are participating]
Clothing:
Each team should have their own jersey set,
so that the teams are easier to keep apart for spectators.
However, robes, skirts, capes, dresses and hats are prohibited, as they can easily hide the Bagball.
Kick off:
Both teams will stand in their half of the playing field at baseline, 1 player from each team is allowed to be next to the kick off spot (middle of the field).
The Bagball lies in the middle of the field.
As soon as the referee (me) opens a trapped Pouch, the game begins.
Goal:
The attacking team must place the Bagball, in front of the goal line, only after that the Bagball may be “kicked” into the goal box.
From the defending team a maximum of two players may stand directly in front of the goal box.
Kick-off after a goal:
The team that has scored the goal has to go into their own half of the playing field.
You may only return to the half of the enemy, when the Bagball or a enemy crosses the center line.
